I have been trying not to be too bummed about not going home for Christmas, but it is just hard not to be. Last year was such a fun Christmas, I put some pictures below of our house and hosting Christmas Eve. Even though we will not be up in WA, we are still keeping our few traditions, like today when I got home Kelly had bought me Christmas Roses, it amazes me that he remembers every year. Each year he buys me 2 dozen roses and calls them my Christmas Roses. The first year we were married I had Christmas roses and my sister and I made my Grandma a white rose tree, too bad I don't have a picture of it.
We are also still planning on celebrating Christmas Adam the 23rd of December:) Since the first year we were dating, Kelly wanted to celebrate Christmas Adam, because Adam came before Eve (ha ha :) we would go out to a nice dinner, exchange gifts and then go look at the Sheraton gingerbread houses. This year we are going to Duke's in Malibu, it is not a "fancy" restaurant, but we had wanted to try it in Oahu, but never got the chance, so it should be fun.

Merry Christmas dear friend, every time I hear Karen Carpenter singing "White Christmas" I think of you...
"The sun is shining,
the grass is green;
the orange and palm trees sway...
there's never been such a day,
in Beverly Hills, LA.
But it's December the 24th...
and I'm longing to be up north..."
:) Love you.
P.S. LOVE the new layout. ;)
Thanks Erin, that will be my new Christmas theme song :)
Oh Nicole I know how your feeling :( I don't really have much encouragement to give though, sorry. We do need to be in touch this weekend as it's my first also being away from "home" for Christmas. We can do it :) I love you!
Love, Ash
