100 - (a bit exaggerated I know) Things to do!
In the past two days I have worked a total of thirty two hours and after feeling completely exhausted I was able to crash to sleep last night and sleep for ten hours! I woke up this morning to fifty emails, probably mostly because I joined facebook on Sunday and have not had any time to filter through the messages etc, four voicemails that I honestly had know time to check and one neglected text. Now, as I feel rested and relieved to have a day at home, my list of "to do's" seems to be growing into a number I fear will reach 100!
Monday's Moment:
Monday I finished my three day call on Ugly Betty and Gene Simmons from KISS was guest starring. The scene was in a bar and at one point I was placed standing a few feet in front of him watching a band. In all honesty, although he had most of the extras clamoring for his attention, I was a bit freaked out and disturbed by him. His demeanor was very calm and nice but I couldn't get past his plastered long dark hair, all black wardrobe (including black velvet pants) and signature moves of what he called the "devil sign" with his hands and his long tongue towering over me. I tried to play it cool and just do the scene until in one of the takes I heard something hit the ground and it was his dark sunglasses, he ignored them and finished the scene with his exit. As the scene cut people began moving around and so I quickly picked up the glasses before they were stomped on. I awkwardly held out the glasses as he and I walked towards each other, already having had the jitters I had quite the reaction when Wham, his arm came down and he did an over the top impersonation of a karate chop including a loud sound effect, I don't know if you have a visual, but it happened fast and not able to catch on to the joke I literally yelped in fear, like a soft scream. He laughed and explained that the actress who hugged him basically karate chopped his hand and made the glasses fall, ha ha, I walked away and prayed he wouldn't drop them again.
Side note, did you know that Gene Simmons tap dances, well he does.
Tuesday:
You know when you see someone and you are trying so hard to place how you know them, well that happened to me yesterday on the set of the Knight Rider pilot. I saw this guy from across the set, we were filming on the Las Vegas casino set and initially I thought that I had just worked with him as an extra before on a different show. Then, I was thinking I knew him from Seattle and I was going through different connections in my mind. About 10 or so hours later, I saw him chatting with the other principal actors, I was thankful I hadn't approached him with the classic, "I think we have worked together before but I can't place it line." I never saw him acting, so then I was still wondering. As I type this I realize it is really not that interesting, but when you are playing fake slot machines all day your mind really reaches for anything to keep it entertained. Anyway, it finally hit me when I saw him walking to his car in the parking garage. He is the bartender's boyfriend off of Grey's Anatomy! No wonder I thought I knew him from Seattle. I googled him and his name is Jack Yang.

Fascinating stuff, I mean it.
I'm kind of glad you were scared by Gene Simmons. The image of the tongue wagging over your head made me both choke with laughter and gasp in horror.
Ah yes, Joe's boyfriend! Whatever happened to the storyline where they were going to adopt?
It is so fun to hear of your Hollywood Adventures! (especially when my days only consist of crazy people aged 4 and under!-Just today I had to take ALL three of them to an appointment...it only took 1.5 hours in the office...ah, my little 3-ringed circus!) I'm so glad you are blogging this...one day it will be great to look back at it all!
Hope you have a great day!
