I have joked that I wish I could see my own life as clearly as I can other peoples. Like, he would be really good at such and such, or that couple should really consider… and so on and so on … It is always easier to solve other people’s "problems" and well, spend their money. Anyway, I write this because I feel like going on vacation is the only time I "escape" my life enough to have a little perspective and evaluate how things are going, without being right in the middle of the going.
So, yes, we had a great vacation, spending time with family, laughing, eating and eating and eating (Kelly really embraced the “all you can eat” aspect of cruising), and enjoying time to think.
When we returned on Sunday it was right back to reality, and then some. I came down with a 24 hour or so flu and Kelly headed right into work that night. Kelly is back at work again today after being called in early this morning, he is hoping his phone stops ringing and I am continuing on my curse, oops I mean quest, to get mine to ring.
