Following my heart.

Below: Me and Miss Makenzie decked out in our Hancock attire for superhero night.
My wonderful cabin 7A girls getting ready to go Hide and Seek!
That's right, I taught a "Sand Castle Building" skills class. The competition got pretty intense. The girls went with a village theme, while the boys took on more of a fortress look. The winner of course, was the lovely "princess castle" not pictured, but chosen as winner by the adorable daughters of Luke and Terry. It was a wonderful week, and if you think sand castle building looks like fun, you can imagine how great Fort Building was. I still kick myself that I didn't snap a picture of it. Watching Man vs. Wild really paid off, as I thought... what would Bear Grylls do?
Then, it was home and back to reality. But, not the reality I planned on coming home to. I was supposed to start back at the VA this past Monday. But, after a call from my agent in Seattle on Friday, and a lot of contemplation and prayer, I let the VA know I wasn't going to be coming in. Instead, I had my first SAG (screen actors guild) commercial audition on Tuesday. Funny, that I would get my first audition like this in Seattle and not LA. So, the adventure continues...
