Breakfast at Tiffany's

was the theme of Allie's Birthday Extravaganza!
We munched on yummy snacks, including a new find, Newmans O's with a hint of mint, while watching Breakfast at Tiffany's on our way up to Seattle. Well, most watched, don't worry I had all eyes on the road.
After spending the afternoon being driven around the city, we took advantage of our hotel's complimentary "Acura Experience," which meant we were driven around in an Acura MDX. We all agreed that having a driver is now a life goal. No stress, it was great. Below is a photo of us in our "Audrey esque" apparel, ready for our night out on the town:
After dinner at Sazerac, we went to see Shrek!
It was a big hit, and the birthday girl was super excited to be there:
Here we are, hanging out in our room on the 24th floor of the W.
Yep, we were enjoying every minute.
Sunday, soaking up last moments in the lobby: We had our driver (we kind of all loved saying "our driver") drop us off at Pacific Place, where we ate Breakfast at Tiffany's.
The picture below shows Jessica and the couture dress she tried on! It fit her perfectly, one of the designers apologized for the "wear and tear" on the dress, it had been worn in a runway show and editorial. It made the experience even more memorable. That and the fact that when we returned to the hotel, Jessica realized that the 3 bandaids she had on her feet, were missing! She said she felt her feet getting caught in the lining of the dress, but she was so focused on being careful she didn't even think that her bandaids were being pulled off! We laughed and teased her about it for a bit, the thought of feet bandaids being left in a couture dress, oh it's funny. On another note, we learned that the dress can be custom made in white with embellishments suitable for a wedding gown... I liked the feathered looking dress below, which of course warranted the classic "you would," response of my dear friends.
I just noticed that the boutique window is Tiffany's blue, perfect! It was a fun weekend and one that I will not soon forget.
Happy Birthday Allie!
