Just over a week ago, Allie's little baby turned 1!
Allie hosted a Jungle themed birthday party, Tristan is such a laid back little guy. Even without a nap and people buzzing all around him, he kept this cute little smile:
Don't let him fool you though, he moves quick. Right after the above picture was taken, he reached down and sampled some of the cake!
He turned into a cute little "smurf baby" as one person put it. He dove on in, with no reservations. His cake was a giant cupcake from QFC, I think it had more frosting than cake. It was perfect to smear and make a mess with. Exhibit A:
Then, this past weekend, we went to Taye's Dinosaur themed party. Complete with a dinosaur shaped bouncy house!
All of the "kids" enjoyed bouncing around. Kelly was like a giant toy for the boys to knock down!
I even got in on the action. It was like cardio, only fun!
We moved inside for pizza and presents...
Taye was cracking everyone up, with almost every gift he said, in his new very deep "man" voice..."Oh - My - Gosh!"

I just wanted to encourage you about the grocery game...don't worry-you will get the hang of it. It is overwhelming for a bit, and I never get exactly everything on my list (just today I realized too that they forgot to take $11 off for a BOGO!), but it is so much fun! Oh, and I always buy a ton of produce that they don't list (not a lot of stocking up you can do with that!) and I still get great results!
