Maybe my most boring post ever...

I just wanted to "check in" with a little blog update.
Kelly is doing well, his spine and disks are safe and sound. His injuries are muscular only, and he is back to work on light duty. We are both very thankful that with the proper care he will heal up 100%! Thank you so much for keeping him in your prayers :)
This weekend and last, we enjoyed some quality family time. I still need to upload the pictures from my Grandpa's birthday party, we couldn't have asked for it to turn out any better, he (my Grandpa), really enjoyed himself.
Yesterday, we got to hang out with some of Kelly's family who live out of state, last night while we played Balderdash it made me realize how much I miss good ol' fashioned games... Maybe a game night is in order...
The only other news I can think to report is that I am officially a member of the blog world Twilight fan club. I am obsessed with the series, and plan to start the 3rd book later tonight! A few people have said that the second book was their least favorite, I can definitely say that I was more impressed by the first, but still, I l-0-v-e-d it! Oh, and did you know that Forks, WA was my first home town?! Yep, it certainly was. I haven't been back since my Mom took Allie and I on a trip to the Makah Days Festival years and years ago. I asked Kelly if he wants to go next summer, I have a friend who has invited me to his family's salmon bake up there, and I am excited to show Kelly a bit of my roots. My sister and I are planning to go see the movie, I just watched the trailer, I am basically psyched. My only hope is that the Native American characters do not speak in slow/broken words/deep voices/etc, using the Hollywood Indian accent, I think I would vomit.
Last note, Chevron gas today $2.65/gallon. Yes!
