Just a few words...

Thursday, Friday, & Saturday my good friends nausea and vomiting returned.
With them came can't sleep. And then Saturday late afternoon, in joined tumbling down 7 stairs. (Kelly counted and insists on saying the number each and every time it is recounted.)
Not to worry though, Baby Girl is as healthy as can be. Prasie the Lord for that! She demonstrates her strength throughout the day with lots of kicks and twirls. The banister and wall are only slightly injured. Nothing a little putty and paint won't fix, I went into full mother bear mode trying to protect Baby Girl. And, I am just a bit more sore than normal.
I was relieved to only be slightly nauseous yesterday morning. Thankfully, after church there was a light breakfast buffet that included pineapple. Acidity has proven to be a true friend with helping calm an uneasy stomach.
We squeezed in a nap, perhaps a brownie or two, and headed to my Grandma's for a seriously delicious meal! I took some leftovers home with me on my dress, what can I say... the cheesy potato casserole was that good. The weather held and the little ones enjoyed an egg hunt outside. It's crazy to imagine that the great grandchild generation will literally be doubled (from 3 to 6) by next Easter.

Today brings quite the to do list, including find camera battery charger. I am always amazed at my skill for loosing things in my own home!

I hope you all had a blessed weekend, and had the opportunity to celebrate and remember our wonderful Saviour!

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."
Hebrews 12:1-3, the Bible

Oh no! =( Boo on the yucky tummy and the fall! I remember having a yuck tummy in the last month of my pregnancy that lasted about a week. I was so glad when it went away so hopefully yours will do the same! Happy Easter my friend!

Glad your baby is safe! Not cool about returning nausea, though. Hope it's short lived for you.
Pineapple and all fruits acidic were my friends through my first trimester, as well! Been craving them again recently... :-)
