Kelly's Grandpa, aka W.W., went home to be with Jesus this past Saturday evening. I am at a loss for words as to what exactly to say about his passing. Most simply, he will be greatly missed. I am thankful for the full life of 88 years that he lived, for the joy he both experienced and brought to others, and for the memories I was able to have knowing him these past 10+ years.

I was planning on writing a few of my favorite W.W. memories, but after writing this first one, short and sweet, I think for now I will leave it at that...
The year that Kelly and I lived in CA, we were visiting WA and having dinner with his family. His Grandpa looked across the table and asked me, "So, do you have an agent?"
He was a very well read man and very in tune with things I would never expect him, or any other retired fighter pilot, to be interested in. I loved his no nonsense tone of voice; and I always admired how he thoughtfully asked how things were going, agents and otherwise.
