No easy way to write this...

I've attempted a much longer post, but I'm just not quite ready to finish it yet. But, I thought I would at least post these pics. Last Saturday, May 26th, my Papa (Grandpa) passed away. I found these pictures hiding in a folder while I was looking for pictures for the slide show my family is making for his Memorial Service. Our hearts are completely broken, but God is continuing to be our Comforter and strength. There are a bazillion things I want to write, but the little ones in the family have summed it up quite well. The other night we were all having dinner together and Georgiana asked if Papa was still in heaven? To which I replied, "yes." She took a beat and then said "bummer." When my sister was asking Taye if he wanted to talk about anything, he said "no, my heart just hurts." And boy does it. I just love my Papa, and I am thankful that I will see him again. That's about the longest post I have in my system right now.
