Thankfully so far we have not been affected by the fires at all. Our air quality around our apartment is still the same healthy, pure and fragrant LA air we have been growing accustomed to. Tomorrow we are planning on picking up our friends Ashley & Mike Kaelber in San Diego. Their hotel has informed them that they will find it virtually impossible to get out of the area they are in due to road foreclosures. Ashley said people are wearing masks and she found it a bit difficult to breathe yesterday when she was out for just a little while. Kelly of course views this road foreclosure as a challenge, and he has assured her we will be down to pick them up in the morning. Hopefully this will not be too eventful of a trip :)

I'm so glad you commented on this because I was wondering how you two are doing...please keep us posted. I just saw on msn a quote that someone said the "sky was red" because of the product they use to extinguish the fire...kind of reminds me of something in the end times! Hummm....interesting!
