Six auditions in four days!!!

Before moving to CA I had said that all I wanted was the opportunity to audition, and whatever happened after that point was out of my control. So, I am very thankful to be auditioning, even if it is for independents and student films, I am just honestly having a blast!

And, last night I went to a workshop hosted by the casting director of Scrubs and One Tree Hill. Every time I am given the chance to meet with a "real" industry professional, I am shocked at how down to earth they are, well at least the people I have met. It makes all of this LA hype much less intimidating, although I am sure I will have my moments of feeling quite lost and intimidated.

I was a bit worried how I would be occupying my time during the WGA strike, but at least for this week, things are going really well. Now, I am off to eat a late lunch before I have to wake Kelly up from his deep sleep. Then, we are off to sign a lease on a 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath townhouse, we are super excited to have the space. And, I am looking forward to not having to tip toe around in the dark while Kelly is on this crazy shift :)
