Last night I went to see my friend Emily in her one woman show, it was impressive to say the least! It was a 50 minute show written by a Chicago playwright about the fictional life of Delores Dogan, with Emily as the star and only cast member. I laughed out loud and at the end even almost teared up. I really enjoy watching people do what they love, and do it well for that matter.
Truthfully I couldn't help but think of how much I miss live theatre, I have been paid more consistently as an actor in LA than ever before and yet have done the least amount of acting. I heard from a friend of mine yesterday, he is mailing me a dvd of the play we did together in August. He has been performing the play (with some different cast members) and mentioned that the play might be going up in Chicago and Florida and that they would like me to join up with them again if it becomes a for sure thing. I would jump at the opportunity. I guess you can do what you love to do anywhere, well maybe not Iowa... I looked around when I was there and it was a bit starving for the arts*, however I had a blast with the Emmaus drama team. Oh I ramble.
*Kelsy and Ashley please do not take offense :)

You are so cute! I have always loved going to a live theater than going to the movies...it seems like they cost the same, but the show is always SO much better! =)
Glad you had a wonderful time!
miss ya!
