Reenergized

I spent this past week having a blast hanging out with my Aunt Michelle and cousin Makenzie, first in San Diego and then up here in LA. Being in San Diego was a nice retreat, while my aunt was in a work conference Makenzie and I checked out a couple beaches and spent some time laying out by the pool. We all ate yummy food and browsed Bloomingdales. If only I could afford Bloomingdales, it looked like such an easy store to shop in, everything laid out perfectly, well lit and stress free :) On our way up to my place from San Diego we stopped in Santa Monica, it was a classic California afternoon, complete with seeing the tv show NCIS filming underneath the pier.

I hadn't seen any family since late January, which was beginning to feel like forever, so they couldn't have come at a better time. Kelly and I showed them around our new hometown and introduced them to season one of The Office. We have our next two family visits planned, so I feel much less homesick and ready to take on LA once again.
