Honest Humor.

So, I am always a fan of "real" comedy, I get a chuckle out of honesty. So here is my latest toast to the real life of a woman.
Yesterday Kelly(my husband) and I were chatting about exercise. He is an avid runner, weight lifter, you name it, he does it or could do it. Anyway, it was drizzling and yucky outside and the perfect excuse for me not to conquer what we call "The Hill!" It is a huge concrete mountain that makes my legs tingle and burn for days after its summit. So, in the course of our conversation he says or I say I don't remember the order, but we say, "the fact that my(nicole) size doesn't change much whether or not I exercise, doesn't really help with the whole motivation factor." I know I need to exercise for my heart and general health and that there are a billion other beneficial factors other than just physique, but you get the point.
Well, immediately after our conversation we grab our jackets to head out for some errands. I see a jacket that I didn't even get to wear down in California, the cheerful color makes me smile until... I put it on and well, have you ever seen the Chris Farley skit "fat man in a little coat?" Well, come on over and I can do it for you sometime.
So much for (must mimic me in a high ditsy girl voice) "oh my size doesn't change" giggle giggle. I told my aunt the story last night and she said, "well, you do need an extra layer for WA weather." Looks like I took that advice literally.
So, I am off to go run around with Taye for the weekend!!! Talk about burning some calories.

You can't be serious?! I feel like you do look exactly the same. Maybe it's your boobs that have gotten bigger. Breathing in that LA air.

HA.

Hope that made you laugh. And I just was doing "fat man in a little coat" tonight myself! It never gets old.
