You know how in that previous post I wrote about how I "prayed that no one would drip on me?" Well, sometimes God says "No."
Saturday, I decided to get up and go to yoga in the AM, apparently so did everyone else in the South Puget Sound area. It was packed! So much so that I got to get cozy with the strangers around me, including the very wet man next to me. I thought I was going to run out of the room, his sweat created a small pool between our mats, I am convinced that the towel on my mat began absorbing his drippings. I scooted as close as possible to my dear friend next to me, I felt like we were trapped on an island, no more like a melting iceberg...
Anyway, one position had us on our bellys, arms out like an "airplane." The man next to me was long limbed and one of his "wings" hovered right above me and DRIPPED!!! My facial expression was silent, but apparently deadly. The yoga instructor quickly pulled us out of that position, and then had us do the second set with our hands interlaced behind our backs. I gave the instructor a very appreciative smile.
Then, as we continued with our "tummy time," the lady in front of me took a scoot back and I felt her little toes in my hair. I instinctually jolted back and then felt my feet graze the very bald and very slick head behind me. GROSS!!!
I told Kelly all about my experience, he said he was waiting for me to come home with a story like this and he was honestly surprised it took so long.
The yoga studio added additional classes, starting today. I would say that is a very wise decision.

Oh, Nicole... I second your "gross!" :) You are one brave woman! It often gets that hot out here in summer... and I have yet to get used to all the dripping. How in the world people can have huge sweat marks all over and act like life is normal is beyond me! Kelsy

Yuck! As I read this I pictured you sitting next to me narating and giving full facial expressions :) I wish that were true, I miss you!

Ugh. Sick. So funny though. If I had been there I would have been cracking up. Seriously, I agree with Kelly. Jessica told me a similar story of Lara "combing" someone's hair with her feet and I almost puked.
