The wait is over...

Canadian actress Tinsel Korey will be playing the role of Emily Young in Summit Entertainment's "New Moon." She is a beautiful Native American actor and although I have never seen her work, she has quite a few imdb credits, and I am excited to see her portray Emily. When I was reading the books, I really did picture someone like her. And, I think it is awesome that the Twilight series is providing mainstream roles for Native Americans!

So, if you haven't figured it out... Here is the big reveal... I auditioned for the role. I have assumed for quite sometime that I did not book it, but it is just nice to know for sure now. From when my sister put the bug in my ear last October, to initially pursuing the audition in November, to getting 2 pages of the top secret "New Moon" script, to taping the first audition in my kitchen, and finally meeting the casting directors face to face, every step was part of a really (for lack of a more descriptive word) fun journey. I had the amazing opportunity to chat it up with casting directors Rene Haynes & Joseph Middleton, and even received really positive feedback.
Thank you all for your support and encouragement with this little adventure!

Well that's a bummer, but kudos for you for going out there and doing it. Ready for Saturday? I am! Also-I tried bikram. Not sure it's for me, but I'll give it a few more chances.

BOO!!!! When you told me you didn't get it I was upset for you. And I agree with Kelly now that I see her picture...I thought it was you at first! Nice work with patience and waiting on God, Nicole...I'm sure it wasn't easy.

Wow. I am sad. I am also very proud of you for going for it, I was sure you would get it, but it's not over! After obsessing over the books I am now more than ever certain that you deserve a spot! Love you!

What great opportunities you have had :) I'm dissappointed and sad for you on this one, but the right part for you is still to come, I can feel it :)
