When I was really little, my Mom would wake me up clapping and singing...
"This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!"
I just read that in a book this morning, and it made me smile. Singing one or two little lines really can start the day off right :)
She would also sing "Rise and shine and give God the glory glory..."
Now I just wake up to the sound of an alarm. Oh adulthood.

I read that too this morning! I love that song.
it reminds me of the TCL clapping and lining the doorway to the dining hall at camp... :)
