Sunday evening thoughts...

Perhaps it is due to the recent Thanksgiving holiday, or perhaps it is from some of the NW news today, but as I sit here in my cozy warm house, listening to Christmas songs, I am reminded that I have so much to be thankful for. I am thankful for the pumpkin roll that my in-laws dropped off this evening, seriously yummy. I am thankful for God's forgiveness, hope, and getting the opportunity to celebrate Jesus' birth. I am thankful for our jobs, even though I sometimes question them. And, today I am so thankful for my family & friends. And, more specifically, I am thankful that the Lord has kept Kelly & my brother in-law safe. It's been a more eventful work year than we ever desired, and it just makes me so thankful for them and what they do.

"Rejoice always;
pray without ceasing;
in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thess. 5:16-18

Love that verse...I think I'll write it down right now so I can look at it all day.

well said, my friend! Can't believe the tragedy that often surrounds what Kelly and others like him do. I am thankful for what he does to keep us safe. I'm thankful for you and for the little babe that is growing in your belly! Praying for you and Kelly as you continue this journey! xo
