Do the Puyallup!

Today, we ventured out to the Puyallup Fair. It was a beautiful day, not too crowded, and such a great way to spend time together!
We started off our day with an Earthquake Burger & brick of Curly Fries. This is the only burger Kelly will actually share with me.

While we polished off our greasy goodness, little Georgie snacked/sucked on her little fingers. She is addicted, at one point today she had all but one finger in her mouth. I'll let you guess which one was left out. Kelly was quite disappointed we didn't capture it on camera. He said Uncle Cory would find it hilarious. Oh dear...

We made sure to be by the Green Gate in time to watch our absolute fav, Mutton Bustin'! We look forward to it every year. Children 6 and under and 60 lbs or less ride a sheep much like adults ride bulls, and boy oh boy is it a wild ride. Kelly is convinced that Georgiana will be a champion rider someday. I on the other hand am convinced she will only enjoy watching safely in my arms. Another oh dear...

We saw and smelled lots of animals, one of course was more enjoyable than the other. Still, it is a must at the fair.

We also saw many characters (exhibit a in the background). I didn't even notice him until I was scrolling through these pictures.
And,
2 Fisher Fair Scones,
a Krusty Pup,
and shared Cow Chip Cookie later...
We were all a little tuckered out.
Now, sweet Georgiana is sleeping in her crib and Kelly and I are going to try and watch the season premier (courtesy of dvr) of Chuck.
It was a really really good day.

Ha! As soon as I wrote those last sentences, little Georgie let us know she would like to join us. Now it should read, sweet Georgiana is sleeping in my arms...
It was a really really great day.

So fun to see how big Georgiana is getting. I love her eyelashes... beautiful eyes! I totally miss the Puyallup Fair! You'd laugh (a lot) at our Dubuque County Fair... the Midwest at its finest! :) But I still go every year and love it.
