From the Mouth of Babes...

Yesterday, Georgiana and I went out for a little mommy/daughter shopping date to Nordstrom Rack. After a successful whirlwind of grabbing items to take into the dressing room, which also happens to be the perfect place to change and nurse Georgie, I was treated with the following conversation from the changing "room" next to us:

I'm guessing the sweet little voice was a 3-4 year old, but I'm not sure if the cutey was a boy or girl...

Child: Mommy, do you still have surgeries?
Mommy: Um, what sweetheart...
Child: Do you still have surgeries?
Mommy: Hmm...well...
Child cuts Mommy off and in a much louder volume than all previous questions, asks: Do your boobs still hurt?

I accidentally giggled out loud, poor lady was so embarrassed. Thankfully, she just laughed and said rather quickly:

Mommy: Nope, mommy's fine, let's go.

I just happened to look down and see a rather large bustier sliding into my "room," I think the child was playing with it. It, along with the curious child, was whisked away, and I just thought... I wonder what Georgie Girl is going to say someday??? I love how honest children are, and I can only imagine what will come out of my sweet girl's mouth. I just hope no surgeries are in my future, elected or otherwise :)

Hahaha! Now that's funny. I myself have BATHroom stall conversations with Ana, which usually go something like this: "No don't touch that. No, don't touch that. NO, don't open the door!!!"
