Something to Blog About

Today Kelly saw a bit of excitement while working for the show Cane, they were filming at a coffee shop a couple of blocks from the Radford studios. Some writers decided to join the shoot and were picketing during all of the shots and walking in front of the camera during takes. The set became such a circus that the show wrapped early and cancelled the shoot entirely. Kelly was sent home around 10:30 am. When he went back to his car and drove out of the studio gates, he saw what he estimated to be about 300 picketers!
I worked on NCIS today, we were filming at a VA center, so we did not see any of the picketing etc. I was only privy to a trio of crew members singing there woes about the strike. One member of the trio had a long flowing blond mullet and was quite the entertainer.

On a completely random note, this weekend we had the best carrot cake ever, it is from Trader Joes in the freezer section called Karot Cake. Just don't look at the nutrition facts and I guarantee you will love every bite.

Exciting. I feel like you are my very own investigative reporter on the scene.
