9:00 am Dentist Appointment... Check
10:00 am Go to Target to buy a Mouth Guard... Check
Yes, you read that right. Apparently I have become a jaw clenching possibly teeth grinding woman. So, now I get to sport a fancy mouth guard every evening. The dentist also suggested that I wear it at work, as it is believed (or assumed, considering the matching timelines)that this new habit may have developed as a result of my new (since June) job. Hmm... considering I have to speak very clearly and sometimes loudly over the phone for 10 hours (I am a 911 Operator) I don't think the at work option is very realistic for me.
Additionally, the dental hygienist must have commented about the "damage" on my teeth a good 5 times. It can't be that catastrophic already, can it?!?
Great, so now I have a steady income, but yucky flattening teeth and worry wrinkles.
Well, at least I have benefits...
On a house note: Loving every minute I am home :) As Allie put it earlier today, too bad you don't get "house leave," like maternity leave. Wouldn't that be perfect. A little time to set up home... I'll dream of it tonight, hopefully that happy thought will relax my jaw and quiet my gag reflexes as I have a giant guard in my mouth...

O I am sorry to hear about the mouth guard, I too am a jaw clenching and grinding girl, have been for years. It's not fun to wear those things, if it gets to bad ask your dentist if he can make one for you or have a soecialist do it. They are so much nicer and way smaller. I had one for a while several years ago, but then the dog ate it and blah blah blah goes the story....

So glad you are loving the house. house leave does sound like a fantastic idea :)
Lot of luv...
