A Work in Progress...

That is the name I have given my house, and it will probably stay as such for quite sometime. In the meantime, it is still being put to good use! Tuesday night I had the pleasure of having my Bible Study Ladies over for dinner, and was encouraged to blog about the picture below:
Many moons ago I read a little blurb in a Martha Stewart Living magazine about having cozy slippers by your door for your guests. I tucked that idea away, and it is now in full bloom at our home :) It works out great because Kelly's Grandma Pat is the slipper Queen and I love getting to share her craftiness with our friends!
Here they are sitting under our entry bench, and don't worry your pretty little toes, they are all freshly laundered! Below, you can see them in action:

Christy and I were on the other couch, but we were too busy recovering from simultaneously/accidentally hitting our heads against the wall, to pose for a picture!
Here is some more work in progress...
Kelly aka the Master Painter:
The pea green bead board is now a soft white, and I couldn't be happier! I'll post more later...
PS... Last night we turned our fireplace on and enjoyed our first (actually my second), slice of pumpkin pie of the season. Don't you just love Fall!

Another post about feet! =)
That is such a great idea! I'll have to remember that one day too!
Can't wait to see more pictures of the painted room with the new cream base!
Did I ever tell you how much I love reading your posts? I do. I get so excited to see yours come up! You have such funny stories and great style!
And the miles don't seem so far!
Makes my day!
